When importing models into SMedit, the quality is so bad. I recommend the import method be similar if not identical to the method Poly2vox uses. The imports are so much cleaner and is something SMedit can learn from. The reason I am asking this is because
1. It requires a separate program which is annoying
2. Poly2vox method has limit of 256 m in Y direction as poly2vox generates files that must be made into minecraft schematics then inserted into starmade. This then limits one of the axis which is very lame.
